Looking for exact Bret Hart quote

Hello,

I was just curious if anyone knew where I could find the exact quote/excerpt from his book where Bret Hart claims to have never injured any of his opponents in the ring. My three main guesses as to where he might have said it would be his book, Wrestling With Shadows or his first WWE DVD. If anyone can point me in the direction of it, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I'm in the middle of a move so I don't have the book on me, but Bret says it pretty much all the time. His interviews with Landsberg I think, his Wrestling with Shadows DVD and the Hitman DVD as well.

In the Wrestling with Shadows DVD a clip of him stomping a guy in the corner is played and Bret commentates, saying that the shots looked very real, but he never left a bruise on his opponents, he never gave them an injury that lasted longer than a day.

It's a true fact, during his time with the WWE and WCW he never injured somebody, though I believe Bret said during his training he injured somebodies elbow or something and he always regretted that.

FWIW Bad News Brown claims Bret gave him 2 concussions back in the Stampede days, once by hitting him full force over the head with a kendo stick for which Bad News beat the living fuck out of Bret, the story is in Brets book too but he leaves out the concussion part.

That's interesting. I wonder if Bad News was still made at him by the time Wrestlemania IV rolled around.

Going by Brets book and Bad News'(excellent) RF shoot interview they always hated eachother though Bret claims he was responsible for getting BN hired by Vince. They worked together around the time and Bret says BNB was a stiff shitty worker and BN claims Bret is a whiny bitch, in fact he says that about most of the Hart kids who were jealous that Stu loved Bad News cos he was a legit tough guy.
As usual with these things the truth is probably somewhere in the middle, if you enjoy backstage stories of the golden era of the WWF and territories then track down that RF shoot, one of the best Ive seen.

Bret's book is full of lies and inconsistencies. He buries his own family too many times to make himself look sympathetic.

This
How can Bret take credit that he was responsible for WWE signing BNB when both admitted that they legit hated each other? Why would you help someone you really hated signing with the biggest wrestling promotion?
It was obviously "you hated me and called me a whiny bitch so I will lie to the whole world how noble I am by asking my boss to hire you and a casual WWE fan would never know who you are if I wasn't there, you would be nothing without me"

Re: Looking for exact Bret Hart quote

Didn't Bret injure Goldberg once? I think it was a knee injury but not sure if it was legit or kayfabe. I vaguely remember Bret being upset about it in an online report but again not sure if that was legit or kayfabe. I just remember he was talking about how he prides himself in never injuring anyone in the ring etc. This was probably around the late 90's or so.
