St..Valentines Day Massacre

Everyone knows how at that event, Big Show/Paul Wight/The Giant debut and helped Mr.McMahon take out Austin(but Austin won cause of it). What I'm wondering is...who was the planned person to be in that spot(the guy helping Mr.McMahon) had Big Show NOT been in WWE. Since his contract expired with WCW the day before the PPV event, I'm sure WWE had to have a backup plan incase things didn't work out(like not able to sign him,WCW resigning him,or some other factor preventing him from being at the event).

Or was Big Show Plan B, and there was a plan A all along, but when they found out that big show was available, they immediately switched to plan b.

Re: St..Valentines Day Massacre

Paul Wight knew he was leaving WCW months before he left. Odds are, he was the plan for the cage match all along.

My Top Ten Favorite Wrestlers of All-Time
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
2. The Rock
3. Undertaker
4. Kane
5. CM Punk
6. Shawn Michaels
7. Daniel Bryan
8. Goldberg
9. Triple H
10. Mick Foley

Those are my top ten and I really don't care who agrees or disagrees.
PS- I HATE SMARKS!

Re: St..Valentines Day Massacre

He was the plan all along since mcMahon promised no Team Corporate member would interfere so it had to be an "outsider". Wight knew since 98 that he wouldn't resign with WCW.

That's why he was jobbed out in the latter half of the year. He didn't get the Goldberg feud and PPV match and was instead squashed by him on Nitro. He was taken out of the War Games at fall Brawl and had Bret not been injured at Starrcade he would have missed that show also. Instead of Bret, he was then fed to DDP. And finally he was kicked out of the NWO in January in an embarrassing fashion.

It was clear at that point (at the latest) that he at least had a verbal agreement with the WWF.
