If Starrcade had finished with Sting pinning Hogan clean in the ring 1,2,3 then it would have been an almost perfect angle and one of the best of all time.

The slow build was fantastic but typically of WCW egos got in the way and the storyline was ruined by a shitty ending

Yeah "up until the end" it was one of the best second only to mr.McMahon/SCSA . Too bad that the blow off was the first sign that showed that wcw would be in big trouble in the years to come .
