Re: Why is WWE allowed to revise history regarding Warrior and Fingerpoke of Doom?
How did Hogan bury Goldberg? And Goldberg took time off to shoot a movie. Goldberg was all over the place in 1999, winning the US Title, Tag Team Titles and 1 night as World Champion before being stripped. And 2 months after Goldberg returned, Hogan left. I think the only interaction they had in 1999 was as tag team partners.
You admit that nobody cared about Diesel/Mabel and say Diesel was an exciting champion. With challengers like Sid & Mabel, how do you expect him to be a draw? And what are you basing his drawing ability on? Can't be ratings because RAW was a 1 hour show that Diesel rarely worked. You can't base it on buyrates because the lowest buyrate was for a show Diesel didn't even work (IYH in December). And the PPV's he did work drew basically the same buyrate they did before him.
How was he the worst drawing champion?
I meant wasn't exciting, I mispelled. But Bret didn't have anymore talent the year before than Diesel did, yet his reign was far more exciting. As for Goldberg, he went from a killer winning streak and a World Title to winning the midcard title and never officially held the WCW title a second time. And of course, it was Nash who booked himself to break the streak, then handed it to Hogan with the Fingerpoke. Then Goldberg went back to the midcard. All this despite Goldberg still being the top draw. That's a burial.
