If you dont aspire to become workd champion why the heck are you doing there in the first place, especially being talented and having that body. The paycheck was going to be better when you are champ
Scott's a smarter guy than people give him credit for. He probably didn't want to deal with the additional burdens that come with being the top guy in the company. There are people in this world much like myself who are content with their place at work and not eager to get any kind of promotion.

One of the reasons Eddie Guerrero's reign as WWE Champion ended prematurely is because Eddie couldn't handle the pressure. He stated that in his book.

Like anybody else, I would've loved for Scott Hall to be world champion, but I don't blame him one bit.

This sums it up perfectly.

Hall always said he didn't want to be the top guy, he just wanted to be paid like a top guy, which he was.

Razor Ramon looked extremely marketable. It was a bad business decision to not even try to push him as one of the main stars of the New Generation, particularly as he was quite over. I think this move - coupled with some smart booking around him - could have gotten them out of a dire situation in 1995.

100% Agreed, Razor should've been WWF champ decent title reign & lose 2 Bret Hart Survivor Series 95, he's defo over with the fans, he's on crack when he said he rejected as world champ.

He probably would have got a run with the strap if he'd stayed in WWE, but he jumped ship for the money.

In WCW he was 3rd fiddle behind Hogan and Nash booking wise (certainly not talent or charisma wise) and got lost in the shuffle. By the time the belt was being thrown to everyone and anyone, his addictions had taken over him and he was deemed too unreliable even by WCW standards.

That's if he ever wanted the strap in the first place. He's a way smarter guy than people think if you listen to his shoots, I think he was perfectly happy earning huge money and riding the road with his best friends drinking and partying. Can't really blame him.

If he had stayed in WWE he would have been a multi time world champion

He should have held the belt at least once but he was there at the wrong time, it never worked for him in WCW because there were always people ahead of him and he very quickly just stopped caring and just collected a pay check
