Razor was mad over and he should've at some point been the champ IMO, but oh well. He helped make history in WCW in 1996 after he left so his legacy is one of the bigger ones in Professional Wrestling, even if he had his demons.

He would've been had he stayed in WWE, but would you trade that for the nWo?
WCW's Main Event scene was crowded and he was the 3rd man in his own crew, behind Hogan and Nash. Then with Sting, DDP, and Goldberg the belt just never went down to him.

This is exactly what I think. Also, part of why he didn't get world title matches in WCW before he had become too unreliable was that he was in the nWo, where Hogan was the main title contender, so he and Nash competed in the tag team division.

Razor is my favourite IC Champion ever, he would eventually contest for the world title but left and joined WCW for bigger money.

Try being informed instead of just opinionated.

He should have won King of The Ring in 1995 instead of Mabel, beat Diesel for the strap at SummerSlam, and drop it to Bret at Survivor Series.

Aside from what everyone else has said, which are all good points........I think another reason in WcW was that he was overshadowed by Nash. Usually in situations of alliances or teams somebody is gonna be the weaker link. Being as though Nash was bigger and also former WWE champion he was booked stronger and Hall was booked somewhat as his lackey a lot. Had Hall been by himself or not attached to the nWo he would have been booked much stronger and possibly been champion.

Re: How come Scott Hall/Razor Ramon never was World Champion?

Thanks guys for your opinions.
i think i understand it now better. It seems to be something between him being addicted and so not that reliable and being in a crew, where he was not the top guy.
but maybe also because he was at the wrong time at the wrong place:
1. before becoming champ in wwe, he left to wcw
2. before becomin champ in wcw, wcw broke down.

i personally would have loved it, to see him beeing champ, understand "chico" ;-)

Thankful for CM Punk making me watching WWE again.
6/27/11 is same important as 6/23/96

A legend never dies: June 18, 1962 - June 13, 2009

Not removing until:
[] Shelton Benjamin makes a comeback
[] Charlie Haas makes a comeback
[] Kenny Dykstra makes a comeback
[] Raw makes again a 6.5 or even a higher rating
[] John Morrison becomes WWE champion
[] CM Punk wins Royal Rumble
[] CM Punk and Daniel Bryan main eventing Wrestlemania in an iron man match (and so creating epic stuff as e.g. misawa and kawada did in their matches)
[] WWE pays tribute to Mitsuharu Misawa

Punk holding the title for 434 days was epic. it was the greatest reign in the history of wrestling (but not the way the reign ended):
4-3-4
4-3-4
4-3-4

Re: How come Scott Hall/Razor Ramon never was World Champion?

I agree with 'wrong place wrong time'. Despite his issues, the Razor Ramon gimmick is one of the best in wrestling history IMO and he was very over with the fans. It's just the era he was in, had he been in his prime post-attitude era he probably would have won it at some point IMO. I honestly believe he was bigger/more over than certain guys like Batista, Del Rio, Miz, Mysterio, Sheamus, Big Show, etc who held the title.

Oh you were not aware of this?
