It ended in the right way and the potential storyline of where it was going was also the right way but the people involved were the wrong people as neither Hulk Hogan or Kevin Nash benefited from what happened whereas any of Scott Steiner, Booker T, Chris Benoit or Chris Jericho would have benefited from being the one who beat Goldberg and then do the long term plan of Goldberg getting his revenge later on down the line.
