Killing off that angle might have biggest mindfuck angle of the entire year. It made people wonder who the hell was behind it only for it to die and see things like Hogan go back to Red & Yellow, Sting go heel for one month, and The Demon debut after a FAKE KISS concert.
wasn't Nash presumably killed off, (along with the angle, of course)? Then a couple of months later he bragged about how he worked everyone on booking his own retirement commentating on Thunder.
Edit: People were actually rooting for Sting over Hogan, . No one really gave two shits about face Hogan.

With probably the worst rap in history by PN News.
Halloween Phantom from Halloween Havoc 1991: this has to be seen, Schiavone totally spoils the surprise that the Phantom is Rick Rude by saying "that Phantom has a mustache...and his finisher looks exactly like the Rude Awakening" http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4m...t#.UQiNd2cgSqk
The Young Pistols (Tracy Smothers and Steve Armstrong)
The other half of the Patriots, Todd Champion (to go along with Firebreaker Chip)
The York Foundation, where instead of Terry Taylor we had Terrance Taylor, Richard Morton instead of Ricky Morton, and Alexandra York with her cinder block sized computer that could figure out every single weakness of an opponent.
This is all from ONE PPV, Halloween Havoc 1991. This show must be watched, its the epitome of 1991 WCW badness.
Shield 2.0, Brah!
