What was the wrestling schedule like back in the 70's/early 80's???
After seeing what Cm Punk said about Bruno Sammartino and Superstar Billy Graham getting his panties in a twist about it I gotta ask what was the schedule like back in those days? Since there was way more territories back then and WWE was in the north maybe Cm Punk was right and these guy's only did wrestle a few times a month.
Flair is impressive: 297 matches in 1980, for example, and 251 in 1988.
But everyone, mainly the NWA guys, wrestled for a lot of small, obscure feds too, there were a shitload of matches and promotions under the radar. These are just "basic" stats.

Some promotions, like Mid-South/UWF and World Class, put wrestlers through hectic schedules. It wasn't uncommon to wrestle one match on one afternoon, then have to drive a few hours and wrestle that night.
