Re: 1995: The year in prowrestling that sucked tremendously
Now days anything WWE does people will say it sucked so of course people will say '12 was the worst. I can't argue because I was born in 95 but I can say I enjoyed 2012 and I came back to wrestling in 2012 and I'm still watching every week. They obviously have done some good.

Re: 1995: The year in prowrestling that sucked tremendously
Believe me 1995 is definitely one of the worst years for both WWF and WCW.
The fact that CM Punk is on top alone makes 2012 not bad at all. In fact this is one of the best years of the last decade.

A skinny guy who can't draw, has a finishing move that looks stupid on all the bigger guys, had a LACKLUSTER heel turn, who had to play second fiddle to Cena and as a consequence turned the championship belt into a prop? Great job Punk!

How about making a rant on it because I'm quite not sure not 1 of my posts are half as stupid as yours.
On topic, when you think about it, the entire business was in a different place. While WCW & WWF both were struggling, wrestling remained dominant overseas. It was kind of like a rebuilding period. Big difference from today is that today, they're still trying to rebuild from when Rock & Austin left and Brock walked out. But they know what direction they wanted to go in. In 1995 they were lost because Hogan's arrival didn't work out as planned and Diesel had 1 of the worst reigns in history, mainly due to his credible challengers being babyfaces.

Punk makes money, so he does draw. In 1995, Diesel really didn't draw. He lost them money. Get your facts straight.

Re: 1995: The year in prowrestling that sucked tremendously
Actually, Diesel was OVER big time in 1995. It's just the fact that they had him in the least exciting feuds throughout the year. He didn't lose them money, they lost themselves money by not really utilizing their talent to their full potential. Similar to today, except WWE isn't really losing money.
And if I'm not mistaken, WWE was worse off financially in 1994 than they where in 1995.

Sounds like a lame excuse to me. He got booed at WM when he beat HBK, who was more popular than he was by then. He was over but he still lost money. And 1994 was a better year I'm sure.
