Loved Rude. Tremendous look, skills, and one of the greatest taunts of all time: The hip swivel into clutching lower back in pain!

Haven't seen a lot of Rick Rude, but what I have seen really backs up the idea he was one of the greatest heels ever. Man, he was good.

Rude, like Curt Hennig, would have been WCW or WWF champ in the mid 90's. He was on his way to becoming the top heel in WCW before he got hurt. Or if hed gone back to the WWF at that time, he would have been one of Bret's main challengers and when he did come back as a manager he was with DX so he wouldnt have had issues with The Kliq.

No doubt in my mind, whether it was WWF or WCW, a healthy Rude wouldve been one of the top guys in the mid 90's.

I always wanted a triple threat heel stable with Rude, Hennig, and Piper. Granted Piper turned "face", but he could have went back to being heel.

It's ridiculous how underrated Rick Rude is. Great look, fun to watch in the ring, fantastic heel. I really enjoyed watching him. Definitely deserves a spot in the Hall Of Fame. Always thought how eerie it was that he died the same day as the Columbine shooting.
