RIP Ravishing!
I was planning on doing same kind of thread recently. It's a fucking shame this legend doesn't have a DVD yet. WWE has tons of footage from WCCW, NWA, WCW, WWF, ECW and probably more.
Also it sucks he isn't in the Hall of Fame yet. Must have something to do with the fact he double crossed Vince after the montreal screwjob and appeared on both RAW and Nitro and did that shoot promo over the screwjob.

One of the best heels of the early 90s. He had it all, looks, charisma, inring, promo skills. He was the complete package.

Sting ended his career in japan in 94, he was already a established main event heel and was 3 time WCW international champion. And in 99 he passed away, way too young.. It's said he was preparing to make an inring comeback in the WWE.

Not a fan but his look and physique was amazing, and not to mention he was great on the microphone.

Great look, great physique, great in the ring with a devastating finisher, great on the mic.
Like already mentioned the total package. He is in my top 5 of all time favourites and I'm sure many fans miss him

One of the top heels in the 80's Rude was always a decent character. You have to wonder if he would have been WWF champ had it not been for Hulkamania running wild.

1) He's my postman
2) I'm the caretaker for his swimming pool when he's on the road
3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.

Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.

He burned Vince in 1997 after the Montreal Screwjob. Vince took it personal.

The man deserves his own DVD as well as a Hall of Fame induction. He was one of the greatest heels ever.

One of the most important moments of his career as a manager. Rude is also overrated as a manager. He managed both DX and nWo.

Unfortunately senile Vince can never let him in his Hall of Fame even though Rude deserves to be remembered, just like Macho man does. Vince definitely took this personal. When Senile Vince screws over people himself, he is right. Typical example of a hypocrite.

Vince may have a vendetta against him much like Macho Man because he ditched the WWE twice for WCW during critical times in the company's history.

That aside, Rick Rude is one of the few people in wrestling history that had the total package. Charisma, ring skills, mic skills, ring presence, ability to draw heat, etc. Loved his ring introduction when he would insult the crowd and they would show video of fat men booing him and women booing him [While blushing] as he took off his robe.

When IMO wrestling was huge, in 1989-1990, aside from Andre, Savage and DiBiase, to me Rude was the only legitimate threat to the top faces (Hogan and Warrior), that includes, Perfect, Bossman,
