Default Who could have been a Horseman?

As the title says who could have been a good fit for the Horsemen but wasn't one?

My picks

Nick Bockwinkel
Ted DiBiase Sr.
Rick Rude
Rick Martel
Shawn Michaels
Triple H
Shane Douglas (I know Flair hates him and vice versa but still.)
William Regal

Those are certainly some intriguing picks. How about Tommy Rich and Eddie Gilbert? Wonder how they would have done as Horsemen.

Didn't think of Eddie Gilbert, but I can definitely see him in a Tully like role and Tommy Rich could have filled a Barry Windham like role.

Scott Steiner 95/96 era when he could still move before becoming the swelled up big bad booty daddy

Call me crazy but I could see a young Scott Hall playing the Sid role. When he first went to WWF and became Razor Ramon in 92/93 he was a lot better them he was remembered for in WCW later.

Nobody could of been a worse choice then perennial WWF jobber Paul Roma.....atleast Mcmichael was a Super Bowl champion football player that's better than Roma who I can't never even recall winning a match on WWF tv before becoming a horsemen and tag.champ with Arn

No for me on Tommy Rich, he did not have the type of charisma the Horsemen needed. However as long as Ric, Arn and Tully were the other three I would say they could have played just about anyone off as a Horseman.

But, people who would have made good Horsemen, they are few and far between. There was only one Flair and Bockwinkel or DiBiase would have been too much like him.

Considering the time period I would think Terry Taylor, Paul Orndorff, Ken Patera (he would have been awesome as the Horseman muscle), or even Billy Jack Haynes (it's a stretch but I can see him in a suit).

Which is basically happened with guys like Windham and Luger. And that's not taking anything away from Windham's in-ring ability or Luger's presence as a "star." I really liked the dynamic the Horsemen had featuring those guys when Ole wasn't in the group. Like you said as long as they had the big 3 and JJ, another guy competing for the TV Title or US Title works. Terry Taylor is a good choice too, and nice shout out to Patera.

From that list Regal and HHH definitely

Ted Dibiase Snr would have been really interesting and I think it would have worked great.
