Back when everything was awesome, because nostalgia.

In the 90s, a family friend of ours worked at Acclaim entertainment (who was responsible for producing some pretty serious WWF Arcade Games at the time). Last thanksgiving, she unearthed a pile of snap shots from a disposable camera of the wrestlers tracking movements behind the scenes. and now I share this gold with you.

I found this on Flickr last night. Check out how young everyone looks! And 'Taker in that red suit!

That red/black Taker suit looks awesome. Would've been cool to see him wrestle in it.

Sunny looking hot on that swing. Lucky seat.

That lime green on Bret really sticks out. Looks completely cheesy, but I'll probably still go home today and alter a tank top of his in WWE '13 anyway. :D

Just an awesome find, man. Kudos!

Last time I saw pictures of Ahmed he was legit 400 pounds (no that is not me in the picture, found via Google Image Search)

What game is this from? An Acclaim wrestling game from 1995 that has Goldust, Jeff Jarrett, The Ultimate Warrior, Ahmed Johnson, Owen Hart, Bret Hart, Sunny & The Undertaker? The only game I really remember coming out in that era was WWF Wrestlemania The Arcade Game but that was by Midway & didn't have Warrior, Goldust, Jarrett, Owen, or Ahmed in it.

Bret 'the Hitman' Hart was like 1 of my fav wrestlers of all time! Damn I miss the 90s! The sharpshooter was THE finishing move of that decade! Bret truly is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

They were labelled 1995. It's entirely possible they were taken in 1996. They were taken while the wrestlers were in the Acclaim studios for motion capture and promo shots, so maybe the original photographer forgot.

OMG I remember these mocaps from WWF magazine, I remember being so hyped for this game after the hell out of WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game. I owned the game on Sega Saturn and the best feature to me was being able to listen to the individual theme sounds on the Saturn's audio rip of games feature. (back then all you had was WWF Metal: The album).

Good times, good times indeed.
