Re: What did you think of Jeff Jarret?
Good wrestler, but never even close to main-event material.

Re: What did you think of Jeff Jarret?
I think Jarrett is a good talent. I think he was a good wrestler. I always thought he was a guy who was right there and just needed a bit of a push to hit that upper-card. I'm not totally sold on his main eventing with the big dogs though but it wouldve been interesting to see.
He did a good job carrying TNA for awhile but I think he went on too long and people got sick of him.

I think he is overrated and should have never been allowed in the same room as a "World Title", much less being champion.

Re: What did you think of Jeff Jarret?
Forgive me if someone else has mentioned this, but wasn't Jeff at one point considered a new Ric Flair?
I didn't really like him when I watched him. Watching old Raws lately I can remember him debuting in WWF in late 1997 and he had some shoot interviews, it was an interesting dynamic and I never knew about it, but in hindsight they are just lax. Watching at the time I probably would have been excited, but knowing what came after doesn't put them in a good light. He was a good heel and a good wrestler, but I never liked him in WWF or WCW. Especially not in WCW actually, he didn't seem like someone who could lead the company the way Flair/Sting/NWO had.
Now though, looking back on his entire career, he wasn't that bad. He was a good wrestler who had a lot of wrong place wrong time moments, and one or two right place right time moments.
I do think he will be remembered most for his TNA work though.

Re: What did you think of Jeff Jarret?
Underrated in the ring and on the mic, he's good. However, there's something about him that makes him forgettable, he's not main event material for a big company. Fine upper midcarder though. His TNA World Title reigns made sense because TNA was a relatively small company at the time and he was one of the biggest "names". His WCW World Title reigns however, sucked, he had zero credibility.

Re: What did you think of Jeff Jarret?
Always found the guy to be underrated. His work during 1995 was top notch and loads better than what was going on in the main events. Going back and forth between WWF & WCW in the mid 90's allowed him to work with plenty of guys. Quite often I thought it worked out. Loved his match vs Benoit from Starrcade '96. That always jumps out as my favorite of his WCW matches.
So to sums things up: I'm a fan.

Re: What did you think of Jeff Jarret?
A solid midcarder and nothing more. Should have NEVER been in the main event or World Champion and shit.

Re: What did you think of Jeff Jarret?
I always liked him. Maybe he shouldn't have been pushed as a main eventer but he still was a great mid carder.

1) He's my postman
2) I'm the caretaker for his swimming pool when he's on the road
3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.
Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.
