Of course size matters. Can you see someone like hornswaggle, albeit with the talent of Kurt Angle and Benoit combine, win the WWE title without viewers dropping off? There's a reason why some talentless hack called Khali still has a job ans whats more has been a world champ.

Are you retarded or something? Hornswoggle is not just a short man, he's a fucking midget for fucks sake. Of course a MIDGET is not capable of drawing no matter how skilled he is. The question is whether 5ft 6 - 6ft wrestlers can be just as over as 7ft wrestlers and the answer is yes they can.

That wasn't the question though. The question was does it matter and yes it does. I didn't say it was the ONLY factor but it is a big one. People are being blissfully ignorant that we all have prejudices. From birth we have an idealised image of what a perfect masculine body looks like, such as super heroes.
If you were an aspiring pro wrestler would you rather be 6ft-3 or 5ft 6? You would take 6ft-3.

Re: Analyze This: Size Does Matter?
arguably the best draw ever in the business was 6'2 at most (Austin). Hardly massive by any stretch of the imagination. That alone proves that size does not matter.

It's a hyperbole. How short do we have to get? If Hornswoggle is say 3ft something what about someone who is 4ft-12? or someone who is 5ft-3. Of course height matters.

Oh are you 6ft 2? Good for you. Some people aren't that blessed.

At no point did the OP specify, also Nash called them "vanilla midgets", implying that it is due to their height.
Also I wouldn't call Benoit or Eddie small in muscular stature, those guys were roided up. Therefore I took it to mean height. Paul Orndorff also said that guys like Savage and Flair hurt the business because they were small.

If you have charisma, you can overcome lack of size. of not, then you will fail.
Vanilla (boring) Midget (small)
The difference is there have been big guys who have drawn that didnt have the mic skills. But how many little guys that didnt have mic skills have been draws?

Re: Analyze This: Size Does Matter?
I personally don't think it does. Some of my all time favorite wrestlers were not very big, guys like HBK, Flair, Hart and a lot of the Japanese guys. Talent is talent. On the other hand, there was a time in wrestling when it DID matter and you were not gonna get pushed unless you were big. I think that has changed a bit now but Vince still gets a hard on for giant men.
