On terms of shows ratings and not quarterly ratings (Which goes to "This is Your Life")?

Yeah, it was. They got seven million people watching those shows in average. And when Nitro wasn't broadcasted, they got 8.1 rating- Which is the highest rated RAW in history.

Hell, the Austin-Undertaker match got higher rating then This is Your Life. It was at the overrun, so it doesn't count in the normal quarterly ratings, but yeah. That was the highest rated storyline ever.

jake wouldn't of made sense in that role. i guess they could've played off the austin 3:16 promo at king of the ring since austin beat him right before he said it, but it was pretty obvious it was going to be vince
