No...the term "2nd top face" means the second tiered wrestler in the company, not the most talented, simply the guy pushed at number two. It is not an opinion piece. We all know Warrior's faults, and that Savage will go in history while Warrior will be a foot note. But Warrior was the number 2 face for a while.

Re: Who was the 2nd Top Face? Macho Man or Ultimate Warrior

Warrior was pushed as the no.1 face of the company when he defeated Hogan at WM.

According to Brets book, It wasnt until Survivor Series that year when Hogan and Warrior won and let the audience cheer them that McMahon decided to go back to Hogan as the main face of the company again.

McMahon has done this on several occasions, put his top players infront of an audience and let them cheer in order to see which one they cheer the most. Two notable occasions were at Royal Rumble 1994 bewteen Bret and Lex Luger, and many years later between Batista and John Cena at the Royal Rumble

As someone Said, Savage stayed longer in the business, and was a better worker, but Warrior got to the top quicker, and was pushed as THE no.1 when defeating Hogan. But once Warriro got hte belt, fans seemed to turn on him a bit, also WWF management just gave him second top heel to feud with (Rude). If WWF had gone all the way, they should have invloved Warrior with Earthquake, and also have re-match with Hogan.

What a horrible night to have a curse

Currently marking for:
Lesnar, Cesaro, Ambrose, Hogan & The Rock
