I know this is a bit off topic, but just imagine...

Bash at the Beach 1996. Outsiders vs. Sting, Luger, and... Hulk Hogan.

Out comes Randy Savage to save the day. Outsiders clear the ring. Savage climbs the top rope pointing to the Outsiders, threatening them. Crowd is going wild until... Savage hits the Elbow Drop on Hulk Hogan. Crowd erupts with boos, Outsiders slide in the ring, hug Randy Savage.

New World Order: Randy Savage, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall. If only.

That would have flopped big time compared to Hogan turning heel. It would only be another Savage heel turn on Hogan. Fans had already seen in.

But another match that WCW missed out on was

Randy Savage vs Goldberg. That match could have been epic

What a horrible night to have a curse

Currently marking for:
Lesnar, Cesaro, Ambrose, Hogan & The Rock

Sure, it wouldn't have meant as much. But in retrospect, Hogan just became annoying in the New World Order. Personal preferences making my dream scenario much better.

Aside from the feud with DDP, Savage's run was forgettable. Tbh he should have never joined the NWO and turned heel. Should have been on the WCW side or on the fence with Sting.

This is an alarm clock, so wake up wake up now.

Re: Randy "Macho Man" Savage WCW Run (nWo days)

I believe to this day that the only reason Bischoff signed alot of ex-WWE talents like Hart, Hennig, Rude, Savage etc.. Was just to hurt Vince. I don't think he had any grand plan to push any of them and with the exception of Bret Hart I doubt any of them really cared.

They were all on guaranteed contracts, making boatloads of money for doing practically nothing for it.
