Default Hulk Hogan Matches You Would Recommend

As i wasnt even born when hulk was in his prime in WWF and to young when he was in WCW with the NWO, i want to go and watch some of his best work. Im interested to see the differences between his Face/Heel personas.

So what would you suggest i look up? Anything that you thought was good involving Hulk Hogan pretty much before he came back to WWE in 2002. Matches, Promos, backstage stuff anything?

Hogan/Savage WM5, Hogan/Warrior WM6, Hogan/Flair Bash at the Beach and Halloween Havoc 1994, Hogan/Goldberg Nitro July 1998.

There are too many awesome promos from Hogan because it's basically 80-90%. Watch his 96-99 nWo work. Some of the best mic work in wrestling history.

Honestly, any mega match Hogan was in: Wrestelamanias, Any big Pay per view from wcw. They might not be the best matches from a technical standpoint but they really have a magic to them. Something wrestling lacks today.

Hogan vs Savage at Mania 5 is probably his best match technically. I also like his match against Flair at Bash at The Beach 1994 in WCW. He never had any other great matches in my opinion but his match against The Rock at Wrestlemania X8 may be worth watching. Hogan vs Andre at Mania 3 gets mentioned a lot and it is a historical match, but it really is nothing special as far as the actual match goes. The crowd is awesome though.

Honorable mention: Hogan has had some nice matches in Japan as well. There was one against The Great Muta that was quite good. Not sure on the date though. He also had a nice one against Stan Hansen back in 1990. If you look hard enough, you can find some good stuff. Hogan is extremely one dimensional and usually has/had the same match every single time but he managed to get some good ones out there.

One thing I noticed is that Hogan knows how to work the crowd as both heel and face. There was always great atmosphere in his WCW matches which i think adds a lot to his matches. Its a shame he was so self obsessed and used politics to keep himself at the top, because of this it seems most of his NWO stuff ended in bullshit finishes.

Hogan/backlund Madison Square Garden 1980. You get to see a different side to Hogan in this match it's more of a mat based technical wrestling match.

Hogan vs Inoki is actually a pretty interesting match too.. So many things coming from hogan you'd never expect and I don't think he ever did outside of Japan.

Hogan's matches just about all told a really great story, that's what made them good.
