Default The Best of The Best

Throughout pro-wrestling history I believe there has always been three major markets for pro-wrestling, beyond anyone else. Japan (Puroresu), Mexico (Lucha Libre) and United States of America (Pro-Wrestling).

What I want to discuss is who is the greatest of each market, which style is preferred and a general discussion of classic wrestling.

Giant Baba
Antonio Inoki
The Great Muta

El Santo
Blue Demon
Mil Máscaras
Gory Guerrero

United States:

Hulk Hogan
Gorgeous George
Frank Gotch
Ric Flair

Who is the greatest? Which market is the best?

They all have their ups and downs, but I would have to go with Japan currently. Hiroshi Tanahashi Kenta Kobashi and Misawa are better then their counterparts in Mexico and Japan over the last 10 years. In the US I would still go with ROH currently, ECW in the 90's, and JCP in the 80's.

I think Japan is the best right now. They put on consistently great shows across several promotions. USA is 2nd with the two major promotions and several nice indy promotions. Mexico comes in last with a product I don't follow at all anymore.
