How anyone can put anyone ahead of Rock but Austin is baffling. The two biggest and faces of the era.

The top two is a lock and shouldn't be debated. Because it's silly, tbh.

Now everyone who's in the top 10 should be in it.

But I'd put Foley at 3 and HHH at 4. But both deserve to be 3rd.

AE was 97 to 01.

My only major disagreement with the list is Shawn at 6 and Hunter at 3. Shawn really kicked off the Attitude Era with the Screwjob and took part in a few of it's most illustrious matches like facing Taker in the Cell and facing Austin with Tyson as referee. I have a lot more fond memories of Shawn at the top than I do Hunter.

No X-Pac?

I'd put him ahead of the APA or Goldust at least.

Replace Goldust with Jeff Jarrett, and yeah.

The most accurate List WWE has ever put together.Stone cold was the face and Symbol of that era and he Defined Attitude like no other superstar.

No, just no. I'll give Michaels his due as being the one to really kickstart the attitude era with DX and being apart of WM14, but he isn't higher than Rock. He wasn't there enough and didn't have the impact The Rock did in the attitude era. Yeah, he should be higher, but #1 and #2 are who they should be.

WWE counted and presented the Attitude Era, its logos and product from mid 1997 to April 2002. That was the official start and end if you want something like that. After the Draft they changed the logos, the sets, the rosters, the atmosphere, the TV concept and a few months later, the Top guy Rock passed the torch to the Top guy of the new era Lesnar. Along with that, Rock and Austin finished their full time run around that time. IMO, the official end of an era was the Rock/Austin moment in the ring after their WM19 match.

1. Rock/Austin
2. Vince
3. Foley

Angle should be a lot higher on this list, but I guess that's part of WWE's mentality pretending that he was never in the company. At least Top 10. Shane should also be up there. And I agree with Sable because at her 98-99 peak she was one of the most over personalities ever in wrestling, not only in the females category.

I personally would replace Kane with Chris Benoit to round out my top 10!

Hunter's feud with The Rock in 2000 was my personal favorite feud of all time. I also think Hunter was the more powerful personality in DX, funnier, and the better mic worker overall.
