Forgotten Legends83: Bulldog Brower
Dick "Bulldog" Brower was bulldog much before Davey Smith or Dynamite Kid and he probably was far more dangerous as the Bulldog than those two put together when it came to in ring persona.
Standing at 5'8'' with a stout built and aggressive expression, he personified the name. Starting out in Delaware as the Delaware Destroyer, he went on to Stu Hart's Stampede wrestling winning the NWA international tag title 5 times.
He went on to WWC Puerto Rico winning the NWA northamerican tag titles continuing his travels to Australia winning the NWA Austo-Asia heavyweight title there. After a brief title run in NWF, he caught the eye of Vince Mcmahon Sr and joined WWWF feuding with Bruno Sammartino, Johnny Valentine, Mil Mascaras, Tiger Jeet Singh, The Sheik among others.
With 10 NWA titles to his credit and a memorable feud studded run across continents, he is a forgotten legend.
