The Andy Kaufmann story arc was the best of the bunch in my personal opinion. One of the best of all time.

No, but even today, 15 years after it originally happened how can you still not get goosebumps.

I think it depends on who the celebrity is, what they do, stuff like that.

They obviously bring in outside names to try to get people interested who may not watch wrestling, but will watch that particular episode/set of episodes.

If they were to bring in the pathetic twits from Twilight, sure, you might get a bunch of stupid teen girls watching it, but, the majority of wrestling fans would probably shit all over it. If you get someone 'legit' involved (Tyson, Mr.T, the two biggest IMO), people wont really have a problem with it. They were guys who fit fairly well in the wrestling universe, and were involved in good angles.

~Hey, bub, I'm not finished with you yet.~

Re: Analyze This: Celebrity Cameos in Pro-wrestling

The first PPV I ever ordered was the Leno/DDP vs Hogan/Bishoff Road Wild...good times. Can you imagine if instead of Bish it was Letterman?? I know the match wouldve sucked donkey balls but the buyrates couldve been huge.

When I first got into wresting was the summer of 98, part of the reason was because my oldest brother a huge nba fan wanted to see the feud between Rodman and Malone. It brought wcw an assload of attention.

Celebs have there place in wrestling as long as there not winning titles and its the real celebrity and not people dressed like them putting on the worst match in wrestling history *trump vs Rosie Odonnal anyone?*
