Look at that, loses WCW Title after more than a year to The Giant (who he claims he put over/made), and then later on wins it back from The Giant. Loses to Luger, wins it back from Luger. Loses to Goldberg, who loses to Nash, who gives it back via a fingerpoke. He did the same with The Undertaker. Also note how he beat Savage 3 times for a World Title and never returned the favour. He only dropped the belt to big guys or very established names (Sting/Flair), instead of talented up and coming guys like Hart. The loss to Ultimate Warrior reminded me of the story that he begged Turner to bring back Warrior to wrestling, to WCW, just so he could avenge that loss at WM.

He had creative control.
Hogan never had creative control in WWF or WWE

The total ammount of days Hogan held those official titles was 3765 days which is to be considered as an amazing feat.

Hogan one of the most recognizable stars ever in wrestling, only Austin and the Rock reaching his height.

Yeah that is a long time. I think I'll tally up Gagne, Sammartino, and other long time champs to see how that measures up. I think Bruno and Verne were over 4000 days total for their aggregate as champion.

You shittin' me? With the huge success of the Golden Era, Hogan's backstage influence and the creative control of his character was huge. When he came back in 2002, he was in total control of his character.

You make it sound like Hogan pushed around McMahon like his bitch back in the day.

Hogan and McMahon were close friends back in the 1980's. Hogan was amassive draw. So don't you think it would kind of a given since they hung out that Hogan pitched ideas that he thought would make them most money? Hogan was smart with money, so was Vince. The mentality back then was to have Hogan as a superhero and feed him monster.

If you were in his shoes, with the belief that in wrestling, bigger is better and sells a lot more tickets; Would you just say no to Vince if he wanted you to wrestle Kamala and instead say; hey lets push that Mid size Lanny Poffo ahead of me instead, since he is more talented in the ring and can do moonsauls whioh I cant?

Seriously....

Sure Hogan talked to McMahon, and had his own agenda, they were friends, that is what friends do. who wouldnt have, especially back then when the mentality was much different. You got a new wife and kids comming up. Wouldnt you want to make all those millions for them and yourself?

Sure Hogan maybe didnt want to wrestle certain guys, but hey, who could blame him, with guys like Verne Gagne offering people like Iron Sheik money to break Hogans leg? It has been said by hundreds of wrestlers and will be said again, it is a cutthroat business, where everyone wants your spot... so why not protect themsleves. So many ohter so called big stars sabotaged others careers, yet no one get the same blame as Hogan. Look at Flair, refusing to put over a lot of guys, walking away with the WCW title to WWF, Savage threatening to leave WWF if the didnt get the WWF title at WM 4 and 8, which btw was a notorious wife abuser by looking his own wife in to the locker room out of sheer paranoia. Roddy Piper had a no-job policy for several years. Yet people always trash Hogan more because he "refused" to put over Savage and other stuff... Is it just me or are people just jealous of Hogan since he made some decent money, and didnt need to do a triple suicide moonsalut off the topp of the ladder to impress the smarks?

But as fro Hogans ego... Sure he got a huge ego... He is HULK HOGAN for God's sake. Austin, The Rock and Undertaker got massive egos too... So why should'nt Hogan be entitled to have one?
