The Persian Club Challenge

I remember seeing this when I was younger, and I loved how the Iron Sheik used to perform this. Granted, Mahal is Canadian, and also of Indian heritage. However, think it could be something that Mahal could later use. Your thoughts? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz_Ig...eature=related

Re: The Persian Club Challenge?

Its not a gimmick, its either something you can do or you cant

Sheik had immense strength and ability, its not something you just pick up over the weekend

I already addressed that, and who cares if they are completely different nationalities? It's something that I think Jinder Mahal could pull off. He could say that as a young boy he was a huge fan of The Iron Sheik. I'm Hispanic, and my favorite wrestler of all time is Caucasian, not Mexican, or South American. Just because Jinder Mahal is Indian, and technically Canadian. The Persian Club Challenge is entertaining, and I feel still has a role in professional wrestling. From what I understand Mahal is actually a very strong man, and most in the back say he is tremendously stronger than he appears.

Re: The Persian Club Challenge?

The Persian Club challenge is one of those things where you aren't just going to do it right off the bat even if you are strong. It uses muscles in ways that aren't trained for in most cases. The only way to beat the club challenge is to work up to it with lighter clubs. It will take years to reach Iron Sheik's level.

Did you just make that last bit up? Because he can be strong but obviously not as strong as the Sheik just by looking at his body.
