At the end of summer in 1997, we saw Brian Pillman engage in a feud with Goldust, over his wife and manager Marlena. At their match at In Your House: Ground Zero, Pillman used Marlena's purse that was intended to help Goldust, but instead cost him the match. Because of the outcome, Marlena was forced to spend the next 30 days with Brian Pillman.
And because of that, we get these fantastic videos, the XXX Files. What a great psychotic asshole!
"Nothing comes between my Calvin Klein's and me. Except of course, your wife, Terri!" - Brilliant.
Thx for this, OP. Pillman's character at this point was brilliant ...

talk about time machine and if factor...if Pillman doesn't have ankle problem with leads to other issue Brian Pillman could do many wonder in Attitude Era. I'm suprise THQ doesn't capitalise on this doing What if factor like a dream fued/match...Brian Pillman vs Anyone could be awesome.
i could have Pillman is only guy who knows how to beat Austin and drive Austin crazy, at same time Brian Pillman is loose cannon where Vince unable to control him and use Pillman to his advantage. you could do Austin vs Mcmahon for 2 years when you add Brian Pillman and if you add another guy Bret Hart into then it could take over 3 years...

Pillman was an incredible athlete. I remember watching tapes of his Flyin Brian WCW days and being very impressed. I found him to be a creepy SOB by the XXX Files days. I guess that's what the WWE was aiming for but I was sort of turned off to the character since I was like 12. He was more for the adult audience at that point.
Ah Yes. I remember these skits. They were creepy and awkward as fuck then when I first watched them back then and there still creepy and awkward as fuck now some 15 years later. I also remember reading that Brian Pilman (along with Terri Runnels) absolutely hated doing them especially considering the fact that both he and Terri previously dated in real life in the early 90's as well.

True, always wished Pillman-Austin match should've happened in 97. That was great feud with Austin/HBK Vs Hart Foundation, especially 10-man tag match from IYH Canadian Stampede July 97. When I 1st watched it on VHS ages bak, that's a greatest 10-man tag match ever. Terri debuts WCW 90 before WWF 96, she's a dirty woman according 2 New Jack said last year.

Really makes you wonder. Pillman was extremely talented, so much that he could have had great matches with nearly anyone. And his character was so interesting, that a feud with nearly anyone would have been great.
HBK vs. Pillman? Hell, after the Screwjob, Owen vs. Pillman could have been interesting. Most intriguing of all though, and I think we can all agree, Steve Austin vs. Brian Pillman in 1998.
