When to start watching from in 1997?
Hi,
A friend has said he has found a place to stream all Raw episode from before 97 and asked if i wanted the link.
I remember watching a few episodes over my dads when i was a bit younger and remember one episode when undertakers bike get destroyed so thought i would start from almost the beginning.
Not watchin any episodes until a few years ago i havnt really got a clue what went on but i would like to see the beginning of DX at least which i believe is in Aud/Sep 1997.
Are there any other episodes or any other info i should know about before starting?
Many thanks.

Watch from the start. Great Bret-Austin stuff right from the start of the year. The rumble was really entertaining and then Mania 13 submission match. Michaels returns to action in may or june - great tag match with hbk/Austin vs bulldog/owen

Watch from the Royal Rumble. That was the event that, IMO, started Austin's face run and Hart's heel run.

3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.
Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.

Honestly, I'd start with late 1996 to lead into what happened at Rumble 97 and Mania 13. Amazing Austin - Bret build up.

From before? If it goes all the way back to the first Raw show in 1993 I think it was then start there to see how the Bret Hart era transitioned to the AE.

Re: When to start watching from in 1997?
Start when Raw becomes two hours (think it is in february). Russo's influence becomes more apparent after the Raw that was held in Germany (in march, if I recall correctly).

Re: When to start watching from in 1997?
I've started watching it from SummerSlam but I realize what I'll miss out on if I skip the first half with the Stone Cold/Bret Hart feud, so I'd suggest the best place to start is late 96 from their Survivor Series match.
And btw, is it only Raw shows that are worth watching or Superstars too?

Watch it right from the start pal, I did the same thing around 18 months ago and have reviewed every PPV from the year (apart from the final one) on my Youtube channel, check out those reviews for an idea of what's on the shows that you may like if that suits you better.

About a year ago I rewatched everything from februari '97 'till late '99 (when Russo left). The only thing worth watching is Heat ('98 & '99) and SmackDown ('99).
The only thing worth mentioning that has happened on Superstars is the formation of The New Age Outlaws, but they give a recap on that on Raw.
