I was a big fan of this promo style with the Rockhouse theme in the background. Hall and Hogan were fucking epic in that video. I didn't think it dragged at all.

Nash is always quick to point out the choppy style of the promos was a result of Hogan's tendency to go on long-winded rants. He describes him and Hall as "soundbite guys" by comparison.

By chopping up the promos, they could let Hogan do his long-winded promos (keeping him happy), while editing it so that only the best parts were used.

So much of the very best parts of wrestling is ignited by necessity.
