That Observer story about Bret, if true, makes him look pretty bad. So he was going to go to WCW with the IC belt in 1992 but didn't because the deal fell apart, and then he blames vince for screwing him in 1997 because vince was worried he would take the championship belt to WCW?
The Rock once entered with a remix theme of Biggie's "Hypnotize" , it was on RAW 1998 , I think because it was the one year anniversary of Big's shooting

Have you got the video of it? Is it available on youtube?
Thanks for those clearing up the HHH/Owen Hart game thing. As mentioned, Triple H coined the phrase but he could have been told the way to go with it. I wonder where the idea that Owen was originally chosen for that moniker came from?
I would be really interested in seeing The Rock coming to the ring to the Biggie song too.
BIG died March 9th 1997, so it will probably be an early March 1998 Raw. Will have to watch the VHS versions around for download and have a quick look-see.
Stuff like that is why I made a thread like this, I find it really interesting.
More;
The Bushwhackers worked a few shows in ECW in the mid-90s as Luke & Butch Dudley.
Big Daddy V, Mabel, Viscera, whatever you know him by, also appeared in ECW. He was a one-night only member of the FBI in 1998.
One many of us know, but will be interesting to those who dont: The Blade Runners (Mid 1980s.)
<<<--- Ultimate Warrior .. Sting --->>>
The Legion of Doom were originally a stable in the early 80s, amongst it's ranks at one time or another included The Road Warriors, King Kong Bundy, Jake Roberts, The Iron Sheik and The Original Sheik.
Jake looks great. Check out those DDTs.
It's funny how young Animal sounds. "Snakey-baby" "Not 1, not 2, not 3... But 2." Haha. I love these early Jake promos.
The Fabolous Moolah was Women's Champion for 27 years, which is the record for longest title reign in wrestling.
Ultimate Warrior's initial wrestling name was "Rock".
Hulk Hogan has never defeated Jerry Lawler in a match.
Steve McMichael appeared in Lawrence Taylor's corner at WM 11.
Beulah McGillicutty, the current wife of Tommy Dreamer, broke into the business with then boyfriend, Brian Pillman and her first role was as his sister.
Erich Bischoff got the idea for the NWO from New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Roddy Piper was originally hired by WWE to be a manager.
Shane McMahon worked Wrestlemania 6 as a referee.
Tammy Sytch has a major in pre-law.
Largest attendance ever for a wrestling event was 190,000 in North Korea.
The Moolah title reign is disputed. She did in fact lose that title several times during that 27 year run. The WWF created that 27 year thing to get Moolah over as a huge win for Wendy Richter. Mil Mascaras has held the IWA title since 1975, nearing 40 years.
Lawler also never got a clean win on Hogan. They wrestled 3 or 4 times, with most being draws. Lawler won one DQ, and if Vince didn't forbid it from happening, Lawler was going to get pinned by Hogan a few years back in Memphis. Big Show replaced Lawler in the match.

I read some good Andre the Giant drinking facts a few months back, cant find the website now but one of them was saying he drank 14 bottles of wine before his match with Hulk Hogan at WM3 and another saying he once drank 120 beers in one sitting, not sure how true the second one is but the first one i can believe.
The Andre drinking stories are greatly exaggerated. Drinking 120 beers in one sitting would lead to death from alcohol poisoning even for a guy as big as Andre. While I am sure Andre could drink just about anyone under the table, the legendary stories are nothing more than kayfabe carny talk.

Christian has worked the most ladder-based matches in wrestling history (taking into consideration Ladder, TLC, MITB, King of the Mountain, Full Metal Mayhem, etc) having worked 23 total ladder based matches. Jeff Hardy is second with 20.
Edge has worked the most TLC matches with 7.
Jeff Hardy has never won a match at WrestleMania.
Despite being in the same company for almost 15 years, Triple H and Christian have never worked a singles match against each other. They have tagged together and had promos together, but never worked against each other.

American beer is so weak that I reckon even Lord Littlebrook could drink 120.
