BS. Along with Hennig and Hall, he is one of the most underrated charismatic wrestlers ever. He oozed it.

His heel turn speech is arguably without equal. The guy was an awesome heel. And he sold the fuck out of WCWs fickle booking; He jumped through rings for them.

As for Savage, I honestly did not think Savage would be a good heel but he proved me wrong when he went crazy and destroyed everybody in his path for the championship..
Savages Macho King work shits on every heel today.

NwO without Hogan wouldnt have worked because Hall and nash would have ended up succumbing to Hogan's big boot and legdrop anyway. And then WCW would never get out of their hole.

It would have been a hot angle without Hogan but nowhere the industry revolutionizing concept that it became.

Probably nowhere, I think everyone thinks that. But then why did so many other big stars end up joining it? It got way too big for it's own good, it should have been kept small, then it would have been a straight up equal to the WCW roster.

If Hogan had been working against the nwo, the angle would've died (perhaps due to Hogan's politics), they would've probably been in the same boat as the dungeon of doom and 4 horseman - where they team up and still lose to Hogan and Savage like they did in that weird steel cage match (can't remember the name of the PPV).
