hogan and flair

its hard to think of either of them as anything but old, worn out guys struggling to keep up with the modern era

its got to the point where when you see the word hogan you dont think of his career defining years at the top, you think of the saggy, over tanned old guy who didnt know when to quit.

jake roberts etc arent tarnishing their legacies as much because their fuck ups arent quite so public and are as a result of addictions. I mean if you didnt read wrestling gossip then for all yould know jake roberts retired years ago.

Hall, Hogan, Flair and Goldberg. I mean come on Bill, why are you pretending to be a rookie named Ryback now? That's weird, Goldberg should be himself.

Not sure why so much people says Flair... Maybe I didn't grasped the concept but whenever is true that Flair isn't the man he used to be in the ring, this is really enough to say it ruined his legacy? I think not, not even close.
Being a drunk, a druggie or a sociopath is what I call ruining a legacy.

He had the perfect send off and retirement. Then came back in another company, ruining everything. Sure, it was the 12th time he has come out retirement, but seriously. Now he's just a money hungry embarrassment. I mean, look at what he sells on his website.

Flair, Benoit, and Hogan were the first to come to my mind. Doesn't take much to figure out why

i would say the opposite.

If youre unfortunate enough to become addicted to stuff then thats a medical problem that needs attention. I would classify those people as sick. You cant blame a sick person for what they do, and as such for me, it doesnt tarnish their legacy for me. I just think of jake roberts being sick now.

however these guys like flair who are determined to remain in the ring or hogan and his sex tape are tarnishing their legacy. When i think of flair, i dont think of flair at his prime anymore and when i think of hogan i dont think of him lifting andre or wrestling the warrior.

i think of them as tired old men desperately trying to keep up with guys who are half their age. I think of them trying to convince us that they can beat up guys who are in their prime at 25.

and for me, thats tarnished their legacy. it doesnt matter what youve done in your past if people can only think of you as a hasbeen
