Most people on this forum should remember or know about the In Your House ppv's. They were PPV's for half the normal fee or soemthing like that, and they were around from 1995-1999.

Did you enjoy the concept of In Your House at the time

I made a thread a few weeks back regarding In Your House and whilst i enjoyed the concept of smaller PPV's to make the big five as it were back then in WrestleMania, Summerslam, Survivor Series, The Royal Rumble and King Of The Ring feel special i didn't like the fact that they had so many dark matches. I'm not going to go into all of them as i did in the thread i made but you had Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and The Undertaker all working PPV dark matches and at the time some of them were WWE title or Intercontinental title matches or had been part of major feuds at that time.

For the life of me i don't understand how WWE believed they were going to do good buyrates when you put your champions in dark matches or after building a feud up throw away the payoff match on a dark match. Throughout the entire New Generation Era the three biggest stars in the company were Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and The Undertaker so why put them in dark matches when even though they were never HUGE draws they would have boosted buyrates to a better level than they were.

i like the way they worked, being less money then the big 4 or big 5 and as the guy above me said it made the big ppv's feel special, i think its a concept they should really bring back, now that buy rates are dropping every year,

ppv's like Over the Limit and No Way Out should be priced less then say, Summerslam and Mania. i also think going back to In Your House could help build the titles up to a level where the mean something again. it would mean less world/wwe title changes at the smaller ppvs to save the title changes for a big show where it would really mean something.

and i dont know if it would work in todays wwe but why not have an IC title match main event some of the shows.

WWE needs In Your House brought back.

A level PPVs are Rumble,WM,Summerslam,Survivor Series
B level PPVs are Elimination Chamber,Extreme Rules,Money in the Bank,TLC
C level PPVs are ones in May,June,September,October,November

So all C level ones should be In Your House ppvs and it could cost like $25 or something.

Imagine some of the names for todays ppvs
In Your House: Hustle Loyalty Respect
In Your House: Best in the World
In Your House: People Power

and other random stuff like that

I think they should come back. Just erase all the bullshit pay per views and use these instead. It would make so much more sense. Plus I live a busy ass life, a two hour pay per view would be nice once inawhile. But todo this they should end the brand split or better yet, make them brand exclusive.

I liked the In Your House shows for the most part. While they could be a hit and miss as far as the show went. As far as would I like them to bring the concept back. I don't think so! Seems like it would just be a waste of space now a days. But I wouldn't mind seeing WWE release a box set with the best of In Your House. I'm sure they could make a three disc set out of it.

Anybody know what that house looks (or looked) like they were giving away at the first show?
