The Rock told friends he enjoyed working 'Mania but that it was weird since
the same guys he worked with for years in WWE were now coming up to him
asking him for pictures and treating him differently.

I've been a mark for The Rock from around 1998 but i've always found This Is Your Life to be a very overrated segment regardless of the rating it drew and i would take The Rock's promos and segments on Billy Gunn just before Summerslam in 1999, The Big Show just before WrestleMania 16, the funeral for Stone Cold Steve Austin just before WrestleMania 15, when he challenged Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania 18 and in Toronto as a heel the night after No Way Out in 2003 as all far better.

Parts of it were funny but it was basically the same catchphrases but thrown into a different format and spaced out into three different parts. I used to really be into Mick Foley from when he came into WCW back in 1991 all the way through to mid 1998 but once he turned into a comedy character i stopped caring for anything to do with Mick Foley outside of the feud with Triple H when he went back to Cactus Jack. It's amazing that better promos and segments have only done half of what This Is Your Life did with The Rock and Mick Foley having been involved in better segments and promos themselves.
