If we're talking Rock/Sock, this is a nice package WWE did before WM20. The history, chemistry, characters, cleverness, the legendary segment and the dynamics between them.:
No your post made it seem like you did with the way you said "we got to see a soft side of the rock" how so? He called a woman ho, talked about shoving something up a guys ass...it was typical formula of the rock. It was a fun segment but highly overrated. It was all them on the spot? Rock has been known to know everything he was going to say/do before he entered the ring. Usually the night before he would sit with the agent or writer and go over all his lines...doubt it changed for this promo.

Re: This Is Your Life with The Rock

Great segment that holds up today. Rock just has that crowd in the palm of his hand. They hang on every word. You pretty much have to stage the second coming of Jesus or something to liven today's crowds up.

Ridiculous how WWE cut out the best part of that whole thing on Monday, though.

"And now, in front of all The Rock's fans, you wanna serve The Rock up a great big piece of that poontang pie?!?"

Still funny, and even funnier how Rock almost cracks right there.

King: What kinda pie was that, JR?
JR: Uh...I don't know. Whatever it is, I'm sure she'd be willing to serve it to him!

One of my favorite moments in WWE history. But, it did go on a lil too long. In fact they could've gotten rid of the coach and the clown and kept to the girlfriend and home economics teacher.

Re: This Is Your Life with The Rock

This segment is overrated as hell. It was too long, boring and barely funny.

I still look back and laugh at it. I think it was a well played out segment.

AHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK. Rock/HBK would have been jizz worthy. Fuck Pat for proposing Rock/Goldberg and Rock/Hogan.. He should have strictly said Rock/Savage and Rock/HBK.
