This show was pretty bad too, I'll have to go for the Iron Man Match which is great to watch the first time but doesn't really have that re-watch value because of it being a 0-0 stalemate.
Some people see Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart as a boring match because of the pace of the first half of it but it was about storytelling during the match and also the storyline going into it as well. For the people that don't like Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart at WrestleMania 12 you'd probably not like Ric Flair/Ricky Steamboat in their hour long matches because they were the same pace and had the same storytelling during the match as well. I don't see how anyone could say anything else as the best match of the night at WrestleMania 12 other than Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart.
It was a match concept that had never been done before in WWE and the fact was they had to do it on not only a PPV but the biggest PPV of the entire year in WrestleMania meant it was always going to be hard so they paced themselves for the first half, i remember Bret Hart saying to Shawn Michaels he'd call out numbers during the match from 1 to 10 with anything below 5 meaning he was alright but anything above then they would have to slow down. Bret Hart has always said it was the hardest match he ever had and the one he was most proud of because they got everything they wanted to and paced everything well.

I totally disagree with this post. I'm a big fan the Flair/Steamboat series but I can't stand the Michaels/Hart match. I enjoy slow wrestling as long as it leads to something. Flair/Steamboat's match had themes that stayed consistent throughout the match, while the Ironman did not. It felt like they were just trying to fill up time and just throw in some spots to keep the fans entertained.
^^ Totally agree, not just because ive been a Bret fan since The Hart Foundation days, but i do like the match, it was paced out the best that it could have been IMHO, and there are some great spots in the match that some people gloss over.
