If i had to choose one i'd go with Randy Savage/Ric Flair as both men were still at their peak although at the end of it and out on a match that had you invested mentally and emotionally the whole way through and it was the best feud of that year bar none in all of wrestling.
The Savage/Flair fued was fantastic, i rememeber all the wrestling magazines (when they were important - pre internet), had the Flair has pictures of Miss Elzabeth story, loved it.

Miss those days tbh

Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper

Loved this match, probably my favourite involving Piper.

Past: Bret Hart, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Terry Funk, Steve Austin, Rob Van Dam, Edge, Bryan Danielson
Present: Shinsuke Nakamura, Hiroshi Tanahashi, AJ Styles, Young Bucks, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins

Bret/Piper. My family is Scottish and they all loved Piper at the time, especially my brother. I was a huge Hitman fan at the time so me and my brother used to wrestle each other constantly, with me invariably winning with my brutal Sharpshooter!
