When I 1st started watching wrestling around Late '90/Early '91, this gimmick was my introduction to Randy Savage.
What are your thoughts on the gimmick?
Back then, guys were only "King" of the WWE for a few months, maybe a year then they lost the crown to someone else.
But Randy held the crown for almost two years and was awesome! He turned a silly, goofy gimmick held by mid-card guys, or guys at the end of their career like Harley Race and made it amazing.
I loved they way they had jobbers carry he and Queen Sherri on a throne on the way to the ring.
Some great Macho King moments.
I loved the way they brought the gimmick back with King Booker, too.
