Re: When you think of WCW, who is the first person to come into your mind?

Has to be Sting. First match I ever saw was Sting/Flair vs. Muta/Funk. And for some reason, I became a fan of Sting's instantly.

The guy was WCW and did everything it was to do there. After him, I'd say Lex Luger. When I first really got into wrestling, Luger was the shit. Now keep in mind, as a kid, I didn't know shit about working a match. I just knew that I liked certain wrestlers because they looked cool. As a kid, Sting and Luger were my favorite guys. I remember a Clash of The Champions that was headlined by either Sting/Luger vs. Doom or Sting/Luger vs. Steiners and it got pre empted due to an Atlanta Braves and you could have told me the world was ending in 5 seconds and I would have still been more heartbroke about COTC getting delayed till the next night.

Sting, and then DDP is a close second. Never really watched WCW back during the Monday Night Wars, but DDP always stood out to me. Was thrilled when he debuted in the WWE, but sadly they ruined that.

DDP's face popped into my head with his hands in the diamond shape. His music was epic too. Loved the guy!

Re: When you think of WCW, who is the first person to come into your mind?

Sting, Goldberg, and Hollywood Hogan are probally the big three with Sting being basically solidfied as the franchise player. Sting was the face of the company not only for everything he accomplished but for the length amount of time he was there and the feuds he was involved with. I still believe Hogan is the man of WWE and WCW when judging from the impact he had on each company good and bad. The NWO angle actually was rumored for Sting to turn heel and lead the NWO in Hogan's role. I don't believe there's a chance in hell the NWO storyline would have worked without Hogan's star power and also the shock value of him turning heel compared to any other babyface in the history of Wrestling.
