Maybe no classic like the other threads, but oh well. Was she really over and they wanted her to help Eddie? Was he really over and they wanted him to help her?

I personally think it was just to have her be face and stay that way for a bit. thoughts?

I've never really thought about it before, but I would figure it was just because they had nothing else for her and Eddie to do, so they threw them together. It's the same reason Chyna ended up working with Jericho (according to Jericho in his DVD). If nothing else, they had pretty good chemistry and it helped get Eddie over as a babyface.

I guess they needed a diva for Eddie to play his "latino heat" character off of and chyna was the most over. I personally think it would have worked a lot better if he had a sable or a sunny to play off of they would have made him look like a legit ladies man (cuz their fiiiiiiiiine).

Chyna played a decent straight man for Eddie but she's seriously unattractive.I wasn't a fan of any Rock/Austin match but I do find it weird people would call someone a dick because they didn't like it.

It was alright event. Had 2 solid main events and some very good undercard clashes but its largely overrated by people on this site.

Agreed, though Sunny was long gone from WWF by that point. Which was a shame. She pushed the envelope in the family friendly 95-96 era......I would've loved to see Sunny be allowed to get buck wild in the crazy 98-01 era.

From the word "unattractive" to the end of your post, you lost me completely.

Anyway, the thing with wrestling back then was when two people had nothing going on - they'd come up with stuff like this and make it interesting and get the people over with it.

Nowadays, if you're in middle of the card you're mostly left to dwindle until you can find a hook to get into the main event.

usually if i wanna know why someone was banned, i look at their most recent posts and see if there was a blatant troll, insult, flaming, etc.
