That's exactly my thinking, would Sting come in for that one big match then leave, and who would go over?!

Has Vince ever gone on record/video talking about Sting in any way?

The only time I can remember Vince himself actually saying Sting's name on TV was when he was asking the WWF fans who they wanted from WCW on the March 26th, 2001 Raw broadcast and even at that, it was just a name mention, a thumbs up and a thumbs down.

Sting in the mid-90s to the WWF would have made sense and been huge. He was in his prime, and matches against Bret Hart, HBK, Diesel, and Sid would have been very good.

The Sting of 2002 made the right decision not to come to the WWE...Vince clearly had no intention at that time of letting any WCW star get traction. Goldberg did for a little while, but even then Vince had no real faith in him. At a stockholders meeting during Goldberg's run, Linda referred to him as a major disappointment.

'Crow' Sting VS Triple H in the McMahon/Helmsley Era would have been a good feud.
