I thought he had a decent second run with the company. One of the corporations top members. Having feuds with Undertaker, Big Show, Al Snow and others. Though his second WWF run seem to fizzle after his feud with the Big Show.
You can make fun of his feuds with Big Show, Al Snow and his Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker all you want but Bossman was a damn good heel in his second run as The Corporation's henchman and people underrate his role at Survivor Series 1998 in which he secretly helped The Rock advance all the way to the Finals as part of The Corporation's plans. He did a damn good job at the PPV with his part and he also helped get the Hardcore Division in the WWF underway and was a good hardcore wrestler. Bossman was the second best heel after Triple H in late 1999 actually. Bossman was a scumbag with what he did to Show and Snow during their feuds whether you think those moments were ridiculous or not.
It was good. I thought he was a great heel during the AE and so many of his things are remembered the most from that time. I liked him as his original WWE run when he was a face and previous to that with the Twin Towers too he was good but in the AE he really made his mark I think.
He was a shit henchman, he ate someones dog & was hung from a cell, that title feud he had with Big Show where he robbed his dad's coffin or whatever was also awful
He was very forgetful tbh outside of those bad moments
He was a great heel but he managed to have two of the worst Hell in a Cell matches of all time. Although, Kennel From Hell was sort of "so bad it's good".
He had a good run. The two highlights of it were definitely his match with Taker at WrestleMania 15 and his WWF title match against Big Show at Armageddon in 1999.
I liked his early work when he first came back, he was the top enforcer of The Corporation and Hardcore Champion, he came off like a badass. After The Undertaker HIAC match though he didn't really seem the same, even with his feuds with Al Snow and Big Show. Overall though it's impressive how well he fit into the Attitude Era considering the past era he came from.
Voted great just for the Big Show fuckery lol. His matches weren't always the best but he played his character well and was the perfect henchman in the Corporation. And he did some other sick shit as a heel too during that run.
Decent. I was a huge Bossman fan during his first run, but he was not the worker he once was. I thought he was made a pretty nondescript henchman when he first returned, and then got better, more wild angles as he went out on his own. But the matches with Snow were not good and I don't recall much with Big Show.
I was about to vote good, but then I thought of that abomination of a HIAC match with Undertaker at Mania and I downgraded it to decent. Extremely unfair, but that match was was such a flop on a big stage that I couldn't bring myself to say good.
I just adore The Big Boss Man in general so I'm very biased when it comes to him and I especially loved his heel run in WWF and his whole look and that Godly theme. :mark: :lol So I voted great!
He definitely exceeded any expectations of mine. The work with Show was gold. He looked terribly out of place against Taker at WM, but as a mid card heel I'd say he did a fine job. By today's standards I would give him a great. By the standards of that era I had to go with good.
Decent run! He adapted to the Attitude Era well, especially when he went into the Hardcore division.
