Edge and Christian were overrated

I keep trying to watch their matches but they are sleep inducing. You would think they'd do a little bit better against each other being they are friends but both matches they had together were exhausting to watch. Edge's unification match against Test also tiring to watch. Edge reminds me of Dolph ziggler. All work rate but nothing really memorable.

Edge in his prime was one of the best heels of all time.

Christian is also exceptionally under rated as a wrestler.

Together, they were excellent.

Nice unintentional rap there, but I'ma step it up a notch :creepytrips

Edge and Christian's 5 second pose was more entertaining than Sunny's low blows :creepytrips

See though, usually I just see E &C called a good tag team that helped in revitalizing the tag division which alongside the Dudleys and Hardy Boyz created a very viable alternative to the ME scene.
I don't see how one can bitch about that too much as that is what they were. Ive never seen em compared to the Road Warriors or R n R Express or the Holy Demon alliance or anything so Im good with that assessment.

Now Edge as a singles wrestler "forgettable and overrated"? Unless someone has Edge as an all time great, that is quite frankly extremely false with all due respect. I think you could classify Christian as as a solo wrestler as underrated. Very solid hand to have on a roster.

First one is bog average. Crowd slightly dead. Bad example.

The second slightly better. I dont deny Edge can do flips and crossbodies but his and Christians matches all look the same. Also 5 minute match. Edge v Christian in the ladder match they had like 20 and they couldn't do anything with it.

Third is probably a better example. They can do double team moves that's not the point. Every match they do is samey and they didn't get anywhere near the reactions the Hardys got circa 2001/2002. I can remember The Hardys v the Dudleys at Survivor Series but when it comes to Edge and Christian all I can think of is that they are solid wrestlers, who could do cross bodies but no match stands out.

I found Christian tolerable as a mid carder, but never once watched a show for him, bought a ppv because of his match, and when he became a world champion I thought it was a complete joke and very telling of how far the wrestling world had fallen over the years.

Edge was always pretty good, had some good matches and good storylines.

I really enjoyed their work as a tag team and Edge had a decent singles run after the split for about 2 years. Didn't like him as a heel and feel that him being a 12 time World Champion or whatever shouldn't have really happened but to be honest the dude has a fan base so how can I argue with it?

As for Christian. Kind of similar to Edge actually. Really enjoyed his work with Edge and after the split he was a great heel character from about the end of 2001 until 2005. Liked him in TNA but upon his return to WWE I quickly got tired of him and was done with Christian.
