Re: Bring Back 'The Devil Petition

I was a fan of Sullivan's Florida work, but that was over 30 years ago. He is an old man now and I have no desire to see him in a ring. He was a great demonic heel, though, back in the day.

Sullivan has a good wrestling mind for sure. His booking of Nitro during the NWO's hey day was great.

There have been older contestants than 'The Devil' in The Rumble over the years, it'd be great to hear the eerie Dungeon Of Doom theme one more time until he quickly gets thrown out of the Rumble by 'the new Kevin Sullivan' Bray Wyatt

The guy that killed Benoit and his family?

No thanks.

Also, 100 likes and still only 7x signed

It's clear nobody wants him back and the guy that started the petition doesn't have a lot of trust in the issue either.

Daniel Bryan / Dolph Ziggler / Dean Ambrose / Seth Rollins / CM Punk / Stone Cold / Chris Jericho / Chris Benoit / Jeff Hardy / The Undertaker / Mickie James / AJ / Natalya / Bellas / Naomi / Sasha Banks / Bayley / Dana Brooke / New Day / Cage / Dario Cueto / Vince McMahon / Vince Russo / Paul Heyman

Re: Bring Back 'The Devil' Petition

And for the record, OP, they've interviewed them on their website. Whenever they make a documentary he can provide first-hand insight for, he's there.

What the fuck, are you expecting them to parade him around on TV every week or something? He doesn't have anything to offer them. He's an old man that hasn't worked there in nearly 40 years. And he clearly doesn't give a damn about those conspiracy theories and it's not like WWE "befriending" him is going to make people stop believing them.

People make petitions for the dumbest shit.

Re: Bring Back 'The Devil Petition

Sully would fit right in with WWE creative seeing as he refused to push new guys to the top and loved going back to his pat hand.

He would restart the Cena/Orton and Sheamus/Del Rio rivalries lmao would also meas Big Show in store for a mega push and maybe Desperado Joe Gomez could get a job again and be the Mexican star to fill Mysterio

Hell, the darkest of days in WCW are his work (January 2000 to March 2000 are the dirt worst). The Russo stuff that came later was terrible and wacky, but Sullivan trying to correct the ship after they fired Russo the first time is bad.

All Sid all the time? Nash as commissioner? Harlem Heat 2000? James Brown? Maestro? The Artist? Going back to his boys like Rhodes, Flair, Funk, Hogan, and Luger in big roles? Big Al and Tank Abbott?! ushing Brian fucking Knobbs?! YAPPAPI Strap Map JAYSUS?!

Granted, WCW didn't have a lot to work with in regards to potential main event talent BUT that's a direct result of Sullivan building a glass ceiling in 1997, 1998, and 1999.

Sullivan COULD be brought in as a Dutch/Zeb role, but even then who do you put him with and why?

THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT!

Re: Bring Back 'The Devil' Petition

This is all really depends on Triple H's schedule, and whether or not he can fit squashing another Monday Night War veteran into it.
