I'm not sure how common they are but I'm hoping someone contributes something funny.

These are mine off the top of my head (leaving out the actual spelling to see if you can recognize who I meant):

Las Variquas
Rowdy Rowdy Piper
Davian Demento
Bob Backland
John Thena (as in the Spanish pronounciation of 'C')

Isaac Yan Kum (Lawler to blame for that one)
Avotar (I think WWF Magazine misspelled it and I'd never heard that word before)

Until a couple of days ago I'd gone back and forth on whether King Mo and Sir Mo were the same person or not. I think King Mabel and Sir Mo had me confused.

I spent most of 1995 spelling HHH's name Hunter Hurst Helmsley. I also thought his finisher was called The Cavalcade for a while.

My brother still pronounces Muta as "Myootah"

But nothing beats my cousin. He called IRS "RIS" and Brutus Beefcake "Brutus Briefcase." :lol

I also knew a guy who called a certain former NWA champion Ricky "The Steamboat" Dragon and another friend spelled Tommy (as in Dreamer or Rich) "Thommy" and Lawler "Lawyer."

The latter may be due to an angle with the former. When Brutus made his 1993 return and was attacked by Money Inc, RIS used to correct Gene Okerlund saying it's not a briefcase, but a Beefcase.

and Lawler "Lawyer."
Piper called him that on the "Bottom Line" vignettes he did in the run up to King of the Ring 1994. He said "Loyler? Lawyer? Liar?"

Doesn't matter how long I'll live, I'll never be able to spell Lobster Head's name. I can't even get it close enough for my browser spellchecker to figure out what the fuck I'm trying to say, so I have to run it through google every time I want to write something about him =/

It took me a long time to spell Guerrero right. Still having the hard time to spell that right, apparently.

Always got confused how Nelson Frasier spelled Mabel or was it Mable:nerd:

Then we have the classic Sean Michaels, Lex Lugar how some spell the Hitmans first name with two t's as in Brett instead of Bret, then we have:
Rick Flair
Kurt Henning

But the one I spell wrong even today is Kurt Angle, I often typo it as Kurt ANGEL
