Analyze This: Chemistry

Chemistry is the study of particles, atoms and how they bond with each other. It used to be my favorite subject where I excelled till they replaced the nice and beautiful lecturer with a big fat ugly dude who had a robotic tone putting the whole class to sleep within seconds for all his genius in chemistry. Yawn!

Well, the above has nothing to do with this thread. This thread is about two wrestling personalities that had great chemistry be as opponents or manager-managed or interviewer-star. If someone where to ask you to show examples of great chemistry between two wrestling personalities, who would you name? If you want to break it down, how about naming one for each of the category:

1. Two wrestling personalities in a direct or indirect feud.
2. Manager and the wrestler he managed.
3. Interviewer and a wrestler
4. Commentators
5. Tag partners.

Here's my take:

1. Jericho vs Stephanie McMahon
2. Heyman and Brock
3. Mean Gene and Machoman
4. Heenan and Monsoon
5. Rock and Mankind

But the perfect example of great chemistry for me would be Austin and Mr.Mcmahon

Bret Hart and Mr Perfect always comes to mind for me first whenever I think about this, Cena and Del Rio did also and most recently Cena and Owens also do.

Heenan and Gorilla goes without saying, Heenan had great chemistry with many talents, throw Flair in there also, Martel and Tito did be it working together or against each other, it worked, Stone Cold and The Rock is a good shout as is Mean Gene and Savage, Dusty and Sapphire seemed to work quite well, as did Savage and Sherri, Dibiase and Sherri I liked also, so many really :)

FEUDING WRESTLERS:
NATURE BOY BUDDY ROGERS / BILLY DARNELL
BOBO BRAZIL / THE SHEIK (ED FARHAT)
Rogers trained Darnell and brought him into the game. Darnell became Rogers' "glove" and they had an on going feud for almost two decades.

Brazil and The Sheik (Ed Farhat) had an ongoing feud that lasted a decade and a half. They fought each other at least 70 times.

MANAGER & WRESTLER
BOBBY DAVIS / NATURE BOY BUDDY ROGERS
Bobby Davis was one of the pioneers of the managers in pro-wrestling. He also managed the Graham Brothers (Dr. Jerry/Eddie) and others.

INTERVIEWER & WRESTLER
RAY MORGAN / JOHNNY VALENTINE
Ray Morgan was the commentator/interviewer on Thursday night's Capitol Wrestling TV from 1959 through the 1960s. He had some really good chemistry going with Johnny Valentine, Greg Valentine's dad.

COMMENTATORS
J.R. / JERRY LAWLER
I love these two guys together!

TAG PARTNERS
ROY HEFFERNAN & AL COSTELLO (ORIGINAL ‘ROOS)
EDDIE & DR. JERRY GRAHAM

Bobby Davis/Buddy Rogers, Chicago Amphitheater, 1961

Billy Darnell interferes and pummels Rogers halfway through this 3 minute video.

Flair and Dusty
JJ Dillon and the 4 Horsemen
Mean Gene and Macho Man
Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan
Steve Austin and Brian Pillman - Yeah they had a short run but the Hollywood Blondes were goats in and out of the ring. I think if they had a two year run they would be considered among the all time great teams.
