Any wrestler has to retire at one point or another. Let us assume that we are going to give each wrestler in the thread a farewell with a montage with the highlights of their career. Which would be the freeze moment at the end of the montage mentioning his career span for the wrestler your previous poster mentioned?
I will kick off with HBK and his montage, for me, would freeze with his "boyhood dream" moment holding the title.
End of an era moment when the three guys were standing up on the ramp. That was the last time I enjoyed watching his match and I want him to be remembered as a guy who knew how to work a match and was ready to give it all.
Great American Bash 1990 - Sting's hand being raised after beating Ric Flair for the NWA title, with all the wrestlers coming into the ring to celebrate.
The only adjustment I'd say for Rude is use the photo of him taking off his robe to reveal Jake's wife on his crotch.
Superstar Billy Graham was a little before my time but from what I've seen I would say him flexing one arm and holding the title over his other shoulder...it seems like one of his main poses from the pics I've seen.
although there could be many final shots of their victory celebrations, or doomsday device I would simply chose a shot of them cutting a promo in the WTBS studios. That is how I chose to remember them, looking like two unbeatable bosses and Ellering, Wall Street Journal rolled up in palm telling the world "no one can stop these men".
So how about Sgt Slaughter?
