Default Thoughts on Scott Hudson

I've been watching some of WWE's WCW related DVD's lately and whilst watching some of the matches from the 2000 era, I remembered Scott Hudson, he was the co-commentator on Nitro and PPV's during that time, what are or were peoples opinion of him, I thought he was quite competent and seemed enthusiastic about what was going in in front of him. He seemed to have a decent knowledge of the business and in my opinion was better then Tony Schiavonie.

I know he commentated Booker T vs Buff Bagwell on Raw, but is there a reason he didn't stay with WWE, also whats your opinion of him

Hudson was good they seemed to be grooming him in 99-01 to eventually take over Schiavone once he retired or moved on.

Good announcer. I wouldn't say he was as good as Schiavone but I think he was definitely equal with Tenay. As for his WWE stuff the original plan was for WCW to get it's own show on a network. Once that didn't come to fruition it made sense to get rid of Hudson.

I liked Scott Hudson.

He was a great commentator and good replacement when Schivanoe was gone.

I liked him, was a fan since his point counter point stuff in Global Wrestling Federation with Steven Prazak.

In 2000 I thought he was the third best announcer in the business behind Jim Ross and Joey styles.

Shame he didn't get to do more in the business, but he had a day job at a court house I believe that paid him better than wrestling.

Good to see I'm not the only one who enjoyed his work, I'd always assumed he was never talked about because he mainly commentated during The Russo 2000 Era, so was therefore forgotten about
