Last year I read a book about the wrestling business, and Vince in particular, called Sex, Lies, and Headlocks. The book was riddled with factual errors and looked like it was written by someone without the slightest knowledge of the wrestling business. Anyway, when he's covering the steroid trial, the author goes to great lengths speculating how Rick Rude likely gave testimony that was favorable to Vince because he had just been fired from WCW and would likely be looking for a job. On the other hand, the author mentions jack shit about the fact that Kevin Wacholz's damning testimony against Vince was in all likelihood colored by the fact that he had physically assaulted Vince over a money dispute and was fired because of the incident. Now I'm not asking anybody to portray Vince as a saint, but this seems like the work of a biased, ignorant hack journalist who clearly had an agenda when he wrote the book.
