Boss Man did nothing after he came back from WCW. It was really a shame. A talent wasted.

Re: Undertaker hanging Big Bossman?

Not a good match, but it was a great way to finish it. Such a controversial decision and a shocking sight. I would definitely say it was one of the most memorable moments from the Attitude Era. Shame we'll never anything like that again.

Re: Undertaker hanging Big Bossman?

It was in a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 15.

It`s one of the forgotten Hell in a Cell matches, it was only the 3rd at the time, it did not even make it to the Hell in a Cell DVD.

It was really disturbing to see, as a Kid I was horrified.

Not to forget that at the time nobody was aware of the Undertaker streak because the number of his WrestleMania wins was until XV not that impressive.

For me it was worse to book him against Mark Henry at WrestleMania 22 when his streak number became impressive and they already started with the "who will be the one who will break Undertaker's streak"

Also I agree with you with Boss Man being credible at the time during the Corporation era

If we're going by creditability Ken Shamrock and Big Show were both corporation members at the time. Boss Man really only made sense because you could make the argument he was Vince's right hand man. He was technically the first member of the corporation who wasn't a stooge.

Re: Undertaker hanging Big Bossman?

I re-watched the HIAC recently. I think it gets shitted on too much mainly because neither Undertaker or Boss Man were crazy enough to take a "Holy shit!" bump. The match was okay for what it was, had blood, was short, and they actually used the Cell as a weapon unlike the gimmick matches of today.

Kudos to The Undertaker though. As soon as he heard the audience start to sour on the match, he went straight to the finish. As for Boss Man's would be execution:

It was a cool visual, but seeing how The Undertaker tried to commit attempted murder, I can see why the ending was cut from the DVD re-release of the PPV. I can only imagine how many kids were traumatized. This is arguably one of the best cases of McMahon pushing the envelope too far.

Re: Undertaker hanging Big Bossman?

I hated it, personally. Stretched the limits of believability far beyond the realms of reality, and, I hate to say this because it's not all him to blame, but it screamed of Russo's TNA booking, where something major and potentially life-threatening is happening, and the announcers are talking about the WrestleMania Rage Party and throw to a video package.

It would have meant no Hell in a Cell match with Triple H at WrestleMania 28, but if there was ever a right time for them to do a credible Mark Henry/Undertaker WrestleMania feud, it should've been during Henry's Hall of Pain run in 2011/2012 where he was in the midst of, what I believe to be, one of the greatest using's of a superstar ever. Mark Henry being booked as that seemingly unstoppable monster during the summer of 2011 was absolutely incredible, a prime example of where WWE got 'it' right.
I love WrestleMania 22 as well and even I agree that their match was a bit pointless, it was too predictable imo.
